Crazy Weekend & The Northwoods Digital Paper Pack

Hello Everyone!  Happy Labor Day!  I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend.  It has been a crazy hectic weekend for me, which is why I didn't get the chance to post to the blog in a while.  Even this post (which was written on my phone) is being posted considerably late .... my phone (like my laptop) has a mind of its own.  Regardless, I am posting it whenever I return home, so I apologize in advance if it is not posted by the end of the day Monday.

My weekend was definitely odd.  All week I kept smelling gas in my apartment. I had no idea where it was coming from, but the smell was getting worse as the week went on.  Friday afternoon I decided to take a meander downstairs to figure out where the smell was coming from.  When I opened the door separating the living area and kitchen, the smell was unbearable.  Somehow, one of the stove burners was turned on full blast, but was not lit.  This is extremely odd since I haven't cooked in my kitchen since prior to my surgery nearly five months ago.  I have a mini fridge and microwave in my bedroom that I have been using during recovery, and haven't had a reason to go downstairs to the kitchen.  (The triple ankle fusion surgery I had resulted in reduced mobility for almost five months.  I decided prior to surgery that it would be safer for me to stay upstairs where the bedrooms and bathroom are since I was using a knee scooter to get around. Even now that I am able to use crutches and walk a bit with a boot, I am still unable to get around sufficiently.)  I have no idea how the burner was turned on, or how long it was turned on.  Was it a malevolent spirit sending me a message? Who knows.  I do know that I am extremely lucky that my apartment didn't blow up.

Due to the fumes and gas issue, I decided to crash at my brother's house over Labor Day weekend.  It is always a nice treat when I get to spend time with family and friends.  Plus, I welcomed the chance to get out of the house and get some fresh air.

Over the weekend I decided to add The Northwoods digital paper pack to my Etsy store.  I also added more embellishments, papers, and an alpha set to The Northwoods digital scrapbook kit.  Both sets are available in my Etsy store HERE.  The digital scrapbook kit is $4.00 and the paper pack is only $2.75! To celebrate Labor Day and the launch of my new paper pack, I did create a sale on my Etsy store page. Just enter promo code september20 at checkout to receive 20% off your order.  This promo code is good until September 30th!

I hope everyone had a fun and safe Labor Day!  Please make sure to follow this blog and like our facebook page.  You can also visit our website and Etsy shop if you are interested in learning more about Copper Blossom Paperie.  Good night everyone.  ❤ Tia - Copper Blossom Paperie ❤
