Hello everyone. I want to apologize for not posting anything the last couple days. This has been a rough week in my house! My boyfriend and I are both sick with some sort of stomach bug that is just not going away. We both have flu like symptoms which makes it impossible to be productive in any way. I personally suffer from migraines, and this illness is causing me to have a constant migraine that no medication can cure. On top of all that, I leave in the morning for Rochester, MN for another appointment with my orthopedic surgeon at the Mayo Clinic. This is the first time I will be traveling on my own since having my ankle surgery this last May. Since I am sick, I am really hoping that my trip goes smoothly. I will be taking a bus and train, which will not be an easy task since I am still not able to fully walk. This appointment came about because part of my ankle is not healing like the surgeon thought it would. This visit is to determine if there is any change from my last visit a few weeks ago, and to determine if/when I can return to work. Originally, I was supposed to return to work August 8, then it was pushed back to September 8. Since I am not walking, there is no way I can return to my normal job.
