12 Freebies of Christmas - #9 - Digital Cluster Frame

Hello!  I cannot believe that Christmas is only 3 days away.... where did the time go?  I am so not ready for Christmas.  I need to spend the day running last minute Christmas errands, so I decided to post this freebie before I leave the house.  I wasn't planning on doing any shopping today, but I was shipped the wrong gift item from Sears, so I gotta go to the mall and exchange it.  Since I am traveling out of town to go to the mall, I might as well make a day of it and enjoy myself.  I am supposed to get three more packages shipped from Sears tomorrow.... I am really hoping all of those orders are right.... I will be going to my brother's house tomorrow night and will not be able to fix any more shipping mistakes.

Today's freebie is a Christmas cluster frame that I created using the Vintage Christmas digital scrapbook kit. This image is in .png format ready to add to any digital scrapbook layout, greeting card, or journal page. This digital cluster frame can also be printed out and used in any Christmas craft project. To download, simply left click on the image to view in a new window, then right click on the design and select save image as.  You will be able to save the image to your computer to use whenever you like. This cluster frame is for personal use only.

All of  the Vintage Christmas digital scrapbook kits are available in my Etsy store HERE.  My paper packs are $1.75 and scrapbook kits are $3.00.  All kits that are purchased from my Etsy store can be used in commercially sold crafts. I am always working on creating new kits so be sure to check the blog and Etsy store often to see what new kits are available. I am currently working on a New Years kit that I hope to release in a few days.  Here are the Vintage Christmas kits you will find in my shop.

I hope all of you have a great day and wonderful Christmas.  Please follow the blog and share this post via social media if you enjoy my posts and freebies.  Also be sure to check out the Copper Blossom Pinterest board and facebook page. You will find the links to all of my pages to the right of this blog post.  Take care everyone and enjoy the rest of your holiday week.  ❤ Tia - Copper Blossom Paperie ❤

Vintage Christmas Digital Scrapbook Kit Release

Hello everyone!  I hope all of you had a fantastic weekend.  Its hard to believe that Christmas is only 19 days away.  I was starting to feel guilty for not releasing my digital Christmas scrapbook kit, so I ended up spending the majority of the weekend finishing it up. Tonight I just wanted to share the release of my new Vintage Christmas digital scrapbook kit.  This kit contains 18 12"x12" digital papers and 52 .png embellishments inspired by vintage Christmas cards and decorations.  I love this kit and cannot wait to share the freebies I create featuring these papers and embellishments.  These papers and embellishments are great for scrapbook pages, journaling, seasonal crafts, and card making.  This digital scrapbook kit is $3.00 and is available for purchase and download at my Etsy shop HERE.  All digital kits purchased from my Etsy store have unlimited commercial use. All kits are in zip file format and will be sent to your e-mail directly from Etsy when your payment clears.  If you have any problems downloading any of the digital files, please contact me at copperblossompapergallery@gmail.com and I will help you with whatever issue you may have.

Also available on my Etsy shop is Vintage Christmas paper pack which was release a couple weeks ago.  The paper pack is $1.75 and contains 18 - 12"x12" digital papers.

During my last Etsy shop release, I had announced that I was making a second digital Christmas collection titled Merry & Bright.  With my life being so busy and not feeling satisfied with the papers I created for that collection, I decided to scrap the second digital Christmas kit.  I am however working on creating Vintage Christmas printable gift tags instead of a pocket card kit.  I will be releasing that kit to my Etsy shop by Wednesday.  I have also started creating a very sparkly New Years paper pack and cannot wait to reveal that kit to you all.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out the new Vintage Christmas digital scrapbook kit!  I am so glad you came to visit my blog this evening! Please click the follow button if you love to read my blog, and feel free to share this post on social media.  Blessings to all of you. ❤ Tia - Copper Blossom Paperie ❤

12 Freebies Of Christmas - #2 - Digital Scrapbook Quick Page

I hope all of you had a great weekend.  It has been super cold here in Wisconsin over the past few days, and much of the state has seen well over a foot of snow already.  Here in Oshkosh, we have not had any snow.  Every storm that passes through Wisconsin seems to just miss us.  I can honestly say that I am not ready for snow or icy sidewalks, so I am grateful for the odd weather.

Before I share this beautiful Christmas freebie, I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has shown me support during this rough time in my life.  Things are starting to improve and my luck is beginning to change for the better. I was able to straighten out the paycheck problem at work last week Friday.  Even though I was an emotional wreck going into the meeting, I was able to stay calm the entire time.  The managers did not bring up the job coding error, or the issues with unemployment fraud.  Instead, they brought up the fact that I was paid short-term disability over the summer and that somehow I should have no problems with my finances (despite not seeing any pay since September).  Really?!  I had to travel 1200 miles round trip via bus, train, and relatives 6 times to get to my Mayo Clinic appointments this summer. Many times I had to stay in hotels and pay for meals. There were a couple times I had no money to go to my appointments and my family paid the bill. I had to pay a $120 copay for my knee scooter and $240 upfront for physical therapy that was not covered by my insurance.  I had to pay for medications that came from out of network pharmacies after surgery because I had no way of picking them up while I was immobile.  I had bills and rent to pay the entire 22 weeks I was off work. Most of my surgery was not covered by my insurance because it was "uncustomary" and did not meet the parameters of what the insurance company pre-approved prior to surgery. My current Mayo Clinic bill is over $32,000.00 after insurance covered everything that they could. Despite this, my manager told me "we all have problems".  I felt frustrated and a bit misunderstood at my work meeting, but in the end I did receive an apology and was glad that I kept a level head.

The entire paycheck debacle did get fixed.  I will not be getting back all of the money that was deducted from my paychecks in error, but I will be getting back all money mistakenly taken for insurance starting November 1st (which amounts to $148.06). The money I do not get back went to reinstating all of my insurance benefits (which are paid up through the end of the year).  I am so glad that this issue is resolved and that I will start receiving normal paychecks again. Although I was not anticipating having insurance for the rest of the year, I am glad to have it. I plan on utilizing it as much as possible in the coming weeks, especially since I have another Mayo Clinic appointment before the end of the year.

The freebie I have for you today is a 12"x12" digital scrapbook page for the upcoming holidays.  I absolutely love Christmas and have fallen in love with the Vintage Christmas digital scrapbook kits I am working on.  You can find the Vintage Christmas digital paper pack for $1.75 in my Etsy store HERE. I will be releasing the Vintage Christmas scrapbook kit soon, so you will want to keep your eyes peeled for that.  I do want to mention that my Etsy shop is open again now that my life is returning to normal and my finances are slowly improving.

This .png scrapbook page only needs a photo to complete.  To download the digital scrapbook quick page, simply left click on the image to view in a new window, then right click on the design and select save image as.  You will be able to save the image to your computer to use whenever you like. This free digital scrapbook page is for personal use only and cannot be used in commercially sold crafts.

Thank you so much for stopping by the blog tonight!  I am working on many handmade Christmas gifts and cards, and cannot wait to post them to the Copper Blossom blog!  I also have many contests to enter over the next five weeks and cannot wait to share those projects with you as well.  Thank you again to everyone who reads, shares, or follows my blog.  I appreciate all of the kind words you have shared with me over the last couple weeks.  Your support has truly impacted my life in so many positive ways.  Have a great week everyone.  ❤ Tia - Copper Blossom Paperie ❤

Freebie - Beautiful 12"x12" Digital Scrapbook Quickpage

I was so busy yesterday that I did not get the chance to write a Freebie Friday post. I worked all day and was beyond exhausted when I got home.  I did not get any sleep the night before because my boyfriend was violently puking and slamming doors all night.  My boyfriend ended up being hospitalized again yesterday morning with pancreatitis.  When I got home from work all I wanted to do was relax, eat dinner, and get some sleep.  Instead I had to deal with my boyfriend's mother on the phone. My boyfriend has chronic health issues that he is not taking as seriously as he should.  If he chose to, he could improve his outlook by eating better but he doesn't want to. I tried to talk to his mother about this, but she condones his behavior.  Instead, I had to listen to her rant for over an hour about how I should have been at the hospital with my boyfriend and that I should have called her? I work for a living... I don't have time to babysit my boyfriend all day. This woman blames me for his health problems because I do not have the finances to pay for his health care or special diet.  At this point I can't even afford to take care of myself, let alone another adult.  My boyfriend has not earned a dime the whole time we have been living together, yet his mother blames me for our financial hardships. If I have to be a responsible adult, why can't my boyfriend be a responsible adult too?

I do not mean to vent on my blog, but I want you to know what I am dealing with and why I am not always able to write a blog post.  My life is constantly screwed up in some way shape or form.  I have no money because of past due medical insurance premiums, I am working nearly full-time hours despite constant pain, and have to deal with my boyfriend's chronic health issues. The last few weeks have been nothing short of a nightmare and here I am still trying to blog away.  This blog and the art I create for it are my saving grace. I will continue to blog as much as I can. Just know that I am dealing with a lot of hardships in my life that might prevent me from blogging some days. I will always post at least one freebie a week...even if it isn't on Friday.

Today's freebie is a beautiful 12"x12" .png scrapbook page.  This quick page was inspired by the Beautiful word art from Pixelscrapper.com. I made this page feel somewhat vintage by using newsprint and pastel colors throughout the image. The only thing this scrapbook page needs is your photos! In order to add a picture to the scrapbook page digitally, you will need to use a photo editing software like Photoshop or My Memories Suite.  Remember, you can click the link to the right of the blog to save $10 off the My Memories Suite software.  This software is the easiest to use when creating digital scrapbook pages and layouts.  Another option that I personally use from time to time is Pixlr which is available on the internet and is absolutely free to use.

To download, simply left click on the image to view in a new window, then right click on the design and select save image as.  You will be able to save the image to your computer to use whenever you like. This free digital scrapbook page is for personal use only and cannot be used in commercially sold crafts.

I hope you enjoy this scrapbook freebie!  Be sure to like our facebook page and share this blog post on social media.  You can also follow the blog via e-mail or google+ if you don't want to miss a post.  Have a great weekend everyone! ❤ Tia - Copper Blossom Paperie❤

Free 12"x12" Family Traditions Digital Scrapbook Quick Page

The weather today is beautiful and I finally have a day off work to spend some time creating more art! Before I get carried away creating a new project, I thought I would share a freebie with you. I was planning on posting this quick page to the blog yesterday, but I had to go to a union meeting after work.  I didn't get home from work until almost 10:00 PM!  Lately I feel like work is my second home. It does feel good to be home today.

This free digital scrapbook page is 12"x12" and is in .png format.  You will need a photo editing software like My Memories Suite or Photoshop to add your photo to the scrapbook page.  Remember, I do have a discount code for $10 off My Memories Suite 6 if you are interested in purchasing the digital scrapbooking software.  You will find the link to the right of this blog post.  To download this free quick page, simply left click on the image to view in a new window, then right click on the design and select save image as.  You will be able to save the image to your computer to use whenever you like. This free digital scrapbook page is for personal use only and cannot be used in commercially sold crafts.

12"x12" Live Laugh Love Digital Scrapbook Quick Page Freebie!

Hello again. I hope everyone had a great Monday today.  I myself had the weirdest day today.  It all started last night when I was unable to stay asleep due to repeating nightmares.  Seriously? I am too old to be dealing with night terrors. Then I had a really lousy day at work.  Nothing seemed to go right at work and I felt like I was walking in circles all day long.  I also had a migraine for the majority of the day which did not help my cause.  Despite the odd day today, I am ending the night on a high note.  I just finished this beautiful quick page and thought I would share it with all of you tonight.

I love Tuscan colors and wanted to create a page inspired by the book (and movie) Eat, Pray, Love. I absolutely love traveling and strive to travel around the world one day.  I have been a bit gloomy lately because of my current financial situation (or lack there of) and wanted to create a warm happy page as a reminder to stay positive.  No matter what circumstances you may be facing in life, it is important to live for now, laugh often, and love the people in your life. I am finding that happiness is not about what you own or how much money you make, but is your state of mind. Fortunately for me, I do not need money to create art (or digital scrapbook pages)!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Be sure to like my facebook page and share this blog post on social media.  You can also follow the blog via the follow button, e-mail or google+.  Enjoy the rest of your week everyone! ❤ Tia - Copper Blossom Paperie ❤

Free Autumn Digital Scrapbook Quick Page

Well I was finally able to rest a bit today for the first time since I returned to work a week ago.  My body is still very sore, but hoping to be re-energized tomorrow morning. Not only is my ankle hurting, but my armpits are as well from needing to use my crutches so much. I am dealing with all kinds of pain, but I will be able to rest up well over the weekend when I get a couple more days off.

The freebie is a 12"x12" autumn themed scrapbook page in .png format.  I created the digital quick page this afternoon while resting up a bit. The only thing this scrapbook page needs is your personal photo.  In order to add a picture to the scrapbook page digitally, you will need to use a photo editing software like Photoshop or My Memories Suite.  Remember, you can click the link to the right of the blog to save $10 off the My Memories Suite software.  This software is one of the easiest to use when it comes to creating digital scrapbook pages and photo books.

To download, simply left click on the image to view in a new window, then right click on the design and select save image as.  You will be able to save the image to your computer to use whenever you like. Vintage Christmas Digital Scrapbook Paper Pack Release

Good evening everyone.  I hope all of you had a fabulous Monday.  Yesterday and today were odd days for me.  As you know, I recently returned to work.  I have been working through the ankle pain (related to the triple ankle fusion surgery I had several months ago) trying to return to my normal life.  Yesterday my ankle pain went through the roof, but I managed. Today the pain was even worse.  I worked five days in a row, and couldn't wait to come home and take my shoes off.  When I got home tonight and finally was able to take my shoes off and relax, I found that my sock and shoe was covered in blood.  Apparently my foot became so swollen today that one of my toenails popped off and the skin on some areas of my foot ripped open.  I did not feel any of this because my ankle pain was so excruciating. My foot looked so bad that I broke down and started to cry.  I am still in shock that this happened to me.

My return to work this week has been a struggle and the pain has been preventing me from working on any art.  Even now I am struggling to write this blog. My concentration and focus have been thrown out the window in exchange for fatigue and chronic pain. I look forward to the pain lessening and life returning to normal as time passes. For now, I will try to post to the blog and work on art when I can.

Tonight I just wanted to share the release of my new Vintage Christmas digital scrapbook paper pack.  This kit contains 18 12"x12" digital papers inspired by vintage Christmas cards and decorations.  I love this kit and cannot wait to post projects featuring these papers.  These papers are great for scrapbook pages, journaling, seasonal crafts, and card making.  This kit is $1.75 and is available for purchase HERE.  All digital files purchased will be sent to your e-mail directly from Etsy when your payment clears.  If you have any problems downloading any of the digital files, please contact me at copperblossompapergallery@gmail.com and I will help you with the zip files or even send the files to you directly.

I will be releasing the full Vintage Christmas digital scrapbook kit and set of pockets cards in the next couple weeks as well as a printable greeting card set and gift tags! I also started working on a second Christmas collection titled Merry & Bright.  I will be announcing all upcoming digital scrapbook releases on this blog so be sure to follow and subscribe!

As always, I hope all of you have a fantastic week!  If you enjoy reading this blog, be sure to share this post on google+ and social media.  You can also like our facebook page and follow my pinterest board.  Until next time, stay classy blog world!   ❤ Tia - Copper Blossom Paperie ❤

Free Tattered Halloween 12"x12" Digital Scrapbook Quick Page

Today was a super busy day for me, so I am having to write this blog post late tonight.  Normally I do post to the blog in the wee hours of the morning, but I am trying to change my schedule and post to the blog during the day.  I used to work second and third shift (which is why I usually stay up so late in the first place), but now I will be working first shift starting tomorrow.  I am a little worried about work tomorrow because I am definitely not a morning person.  It will definitely take some time for me to get used to first shift since I am a night owl. On the bright side though, I have the afternoons and evenings off to work on art. At least I am finally getting back to work and life will be returning to normal for me.

The freebie is a 12"x12" Halloween themed scrapbook page in .png format.  This quick page features multiple elements from my Tattered Halloween digital scrapbook kit. This quick page just needs your personal photo to complete.

This free digital scrapbook page is for personal use only and cannot be used in commercially sold crafts.

I hope you enjoy this scrapbook freebie!  If you like this free digital scrapbook page, you can find the both the Tattered Halloween paper pack and scrapbook kit in my Etsy store.  All digital kits are available for sale HERE.

Yay its Friday!  Relaxing at home tonight and posting another digital scrapbook quick page for my peeps!  As a final farewell to summer, I thought I would make a page for your favorite summer memories.  This 12"x12" quick page is a super cute nod to summer.  The background paper and layered frame came from https://www.pixelscrapper.com/.  I absolutely love how this strawberry clad page turned out.

This .png scrapbook page only needs a photo to complete.  To download the digital scrapbook quick page, simply left click on the image to view in a new window, then right click on the design and select save image as.  You will be able to save the image to your computer to use whenever you like. Free Blessings 12"x12" Digital Scrapbook Quick Page

Hello everyone and thank you for stopping by my blog! I hope everyone had a great Monday.  Today was a bit stressful for me in regards to dealing with my short term disability insurance company.  My extension was denied (which is what I've been fearing all week), but I did everything I possibly could to continue receiving benefits until I return to work. I return to work in eight days, so I will just have deal with not having an income for a few weeks. This situation is completely out of my hands and I have to trust that I will make it through alright.  On a more positive note, I am finally walking without crutches! Yesterday I visited my brother without crutches and I did alright.  Today, I walked to my bank and went grocery shopping without too much difficulty.  It is extremely painful to walk, but I pushed through the pain because I have no other choice.  I am a little bummed that I still limp when I walk.  The surgery was meant to correct the alignment of my foot and reduce the pain I experience when I am on my feet. I am hoping the pain and limp improve with time.

Despite all of the stress I have dealt with over the last couple weeks in regards to my finances, I have been trying to focus on things I am grateful for. I feel so blessed to be alive and to have a family who is so supportive of me during this time of healing. I am also grateful that through this surgery I was able to find my creative spirit again. The free quick page I created for all of you today is all about counting your blessings.  No matter what life throws your way, there is always a silver lining to be thankful for. This freebie is a 12"x12" .png scrapbook page that only needs a couple photos to complete.  In order to add a picture to the scrapbook page digitally, you will need to use a photo editing software like photoshop, pixlr, or My Memories Suite.

To download the digital scrapbook quick page, simply left click on the image to view in a new window, then right click on the design and select save image as.  You will be able to save the image to your computer to use whenever you like. This free digital scrapbook page is for personal use only and cannot be used in commercially sold crafts.

Since I was talking about gratitude, I want to say a huge thank you to the people who are following my blog and taking time to comment on my art.  I truly appreciate the love and feedback you share with me. For those readers who are not following me yet, please hit the follow button to the right of the blog or subscribe via email. Have a good night.  ❤ Tia - Copper Blossom Paperie ❤

Winter Dreams Digital Scrapbook Kit & Paper Pack Release!

Hello guys and dolls!  I hope all of you are enjoying your weekend.  I am trying to relax this weekend and clear my mind. I have been super stressed out all week.  As many of you know, I have been living on short term disability for the last 5 months due to a major ankle surgery.  Since I am still not mobile to the point of being able to stand 40 hours a week, my doctors decided to push back my return to work date.  I notified short term disability right away (over two weeks ago) and have still heard nothing. I am hoping for positive news, but I will not hold my breath.  Sometimes you just have to relinquish control to the universe and trust that things will work out for the best in the long run. I hate the idea of possibly losing my apartment and having to start over, but if that needs to happen, so be it.

On a more positive note, I finished the Winter Dreams digital scrapbook kit and paper pack this week! Normally, a digital kit can take me a couple weeks to complete.  For some unknown reason, I finished the papers and embellishments in this scrapbook kit in less than a week!  These kits turned out beautiful and are available to purchase in my Etsy shop HERE.  The paper pack is $1.75 and contains 18 - 12"x12" digital papers.  The digital scrapbook kit is $3.00 and contains 18 - 12"x12" digital papers and 48 embellishments.  All of the embellishments are in .png format and can be used with any photo editing software. The contents from both kits can be used in commercially sold crafts or projects!

The Winter Dreams scrapbook kits were inspired by the cool blue and lavender hues of winter.  The papers feature snowflakes, geometric patterns made of glitter, plaid prints, and organic textures.  Both kits contain the same 18 papers. The embellishments in the digital scrapbook kit include 1- rabbit, 2- deer, 2- birds, 8- washi tapes, 1- mitten, 1- ice skate, 4- flowers, 4- branches, 4- leaves, 1- pine cone, 4- frames, 1- fence,  3- winter phrases, 4- tags with sentiments, 1- ribbon, 1- sequin arrangement, and 6- snowflakes.  All of the papers and embellishments in both kits coordinate well with each other and feature the same monochromatic winter tones.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out the new Winter Dreams digital scrapbook kits!  I am in the process of designing the coordinating Winter Dreams pocket cards as well as a Vintage Christmas collection! The Christmas kits will not only feature the digital scrapbook kits, but will also feature a printable gift tag set and greeting card collection!  I am so excited about the upcoming Christmas collection and can't wait to share all of my ideas with you.  I am so glad you came to visit my blog today! Please click the follow button if you love to read my blog, and feel free to share this post on social media.  Blessings to all of you. ❤ Tia - Copper Blossom Paperie ❤

Tattered Halloween - Digital Pocket Cards in Etsy Shop!

Hello lovelies! I hope all of you had a fantastic weekend.  I apologize for not posting yesterday, but I ended up spending the entire day and evening in the hospital with my boyfriend. He is still in the hospital and his condition is not improving.  Right now, his GI doctor is looking for a surgeon who specializes in pancreatic reconstruction.  Apparently, there are not many surgeons who specialize in correcting pancreatic defects. Without surgery, my boyfriend will require IV nutrition via a PICC line for the rest of his life. If he does have the surgery, he faces constant stint replacements and surgical upkeep every few months.  Since his hospitalization last Tuesday, my boyfriend has gained 13 pounds! He is doing better, but still in constant pain and unable to eat anything by mouth. Hoping to hear some good news from his doctor tomorrow.  My fingers are crossed!

I did finish the Tattered Halloween digital project life card kit tonight.  It coordinates perfectly with the paper pack and digital scrapbook kit that was already released. The pocket card kit contains 18 Halloween themed journal cards.  This kit is available for purchase in my Etsy shop HERE.  I did just reduce the prices of all the kits in my shop since I haven't had a whole lot of sales yet.  All of the digital scrapbook kits are $3.00, paper packs are $1.75, project life pocket card kits are $2.00, and all add on kits will be $1.00.  Remember to use the blog exclusive promo code september20 during checkout to save an additional 20% off your Copper Blossom Paperie purchase.  This promotion ends September 30th!  Also, if you do purchase anything from my Etsy store, please be sure to leave feedback!

Before I log off the blog, I did want to mention an idea I had about a possible weekly post. As you know, I am spiritual in a non-traditional sense.  I personally use oracle cards and tarot cards to guide me when making decisions or facing hardships in my life.  I have been reading tarot cards for over 15 years and love giving readings to others.  I was thinking that I might post a free weekly intuitive reading on Sundays for my blog readers. The way the reading would work is you will have to pick an image, number, or idea from a list I will have posted.  There will be a specific spiritual message that will coincide with each item on the list.  I like intuitive readings over zodiac based readings because our zodiac sign is made up of more than just our sun sign.  For example... I am a Pisces because I was born in March.  This is considered my sun sign.  If you were to look at my birth chart, you would see that 4 planets and the moon were in the constellation Virgo when I was born. Although I am a Pisces, I am also very influenced by the sign Virgo.  I find that readings are much more accurate and fun when you chose the message you are meant to receive.  Like I said, this is just an idea for a possible weekly blog post.  If you would like to see me post a weekly intuitive card reading, please comment below so I know.  I will not invest time into a weekly reading if no one is interested in reading it.  If there is a ton of demand, I will do free weekly readings on the blog and will start offering private tarot card readings through the Etsy Shop.

I hope all of you have a great week this week.  Please comment below if you would like me to provide a free weekly reading every Sunday on the blog. You can also leave suggestions for future blog posts.  Remember to like the Copper Blossom Paperie facebook page and share this post on social media. Tattered Halloween - Digital Scrapbook Kit Now Available in Etsy Shop

It is nice to be back home after a long weekend out of town.  This weekend has been a rough one for me.  I attended my brother's funeral on Saturday and ended up spending quite a bit of time with my extended family who I personally haven't seen in over ten years.  Normally, spending quality time with family and friends is relaxing, but this reunion was extremely emotional.  I learned a lot about my father who passed when I was a teenager, as well as the secrets he kept from my family.  There was a lot of irony in saying goodbye to my brother, but then meeting my older sister for the very first time.  I do feel blessed to finally have some closer in my life.  It is unfortunate that this newly gained understanding of my family history came too late for my brother.

I did have an epiphany while at my brother's funeral.  I find that life really does work in mysterious ways.  I discovered that in my father's attempt to keep his past a secret, he kept us from his family as much as possible.  The kicker?  I was born with a clubfoot and had to travel to Shriner's hospital as a child for multiple surgeries and appointments.  If it weren't for having a clubfoot and having to travel to the hospital often (which just so happened to be in the same city where my dad's family lived), I never would have gotten to meet his family.  There is another part to this epiphany.  If I wouldn't have had my triple ankle fusion surgery earlier this year, I never would have taken the time to locate my extended family and I wouldn't have known about my brother's death.  I have always despised my clubfoot and all the pain it has brought to my life.  I now realize that my clubfoot may have existed to serve an entirely different purpose. I no longer have to ask "Why me?".  I now know that my clubfoot serves as a means to keep our family connected.  Things really do happen for a reason... even something as awful as a funeral or a crippling birth defect.

With all of that being said, I do want to move forward and talk about the new Halloween digital scrapbook kit now available in my Etsy store.  The new Tattered Halloween scrapbook kit contains 20 papers, 24 embellishments, and 52 alpha. This kit is inspired by traditional Halloween imagery and features grunge prints, creepy bats, unlucky black cats, and even a spooktacular haunted house. The digital kit is great for scrapbook pages, journaling, seasonal crafts, and card making.  If you are interested in purchasing this kit or seeing the other items available in my Etsy shop, please click HERE.  This digital scrapbook kit is $4.00, but will cost you $3.20 when you use the promo code september20 at checkout.  This blog exclusive discount code is good for 20% off your entire purchase from Copper Blossom Paperie.  This blog sale will expire on September 30th!

Remember, you can also purchase the Tattered Halloween paper pack on my Etsy store.  The paper pack contains the same 20 papers that the full digital scrapbook kit has, but does not have all the embellishments or alpha. The paper pack is $2.75, but will cost you $2.20 when you use the 20% off coupon code september20 at checkout.

Thanks for stopping by the blog.  I hope all of you have a wonderful week.  Thanks for stopping by. ❤ Tia - Copper Blossom Paperie ❤

My Beautiful Life - Free 12"x12" Digital Scrapbook Quick Page!

Hello blog world.  I hope everyone had a great weekend.  The weather here in Wisconsin was absolutely beautiful this weekend.  I ended up staying at my brother's house over the weekend to visit and watch the Packer game this afternoon.  We are HUGE football fans!  I am always excited for football season and truly enjoy spending Sunday afternoons with my friends and family in front of the television.  I decided before preseason that I wanted to try out several dessert recipes I found on Pinterest. There is no way I could eat an entire pie or cake by myself, so I bring a new dessert to every Packer game or football get together.  Last weekend I tried a cake batter blondie recipe that was delish!  This week I made cookie dough brownies which were amazing!  I'm sure my friends and family enjoy the experimental sweets!

I realized when I returned home tonight that I forgot about Freebie Friday, so I am posting a freebie tonight. The freebie is a 12"x12" .png scrapbook page I created using digital embellishments and papers I purchased or acquired from various digital designers.  The theme of this page is "My Beautiful Life" and was designed entirely around the font I used.  I love how this page is a mix of vintage and modern styles.  This quick page just needs your personal photo to complete. You can also enter the My Memories Suite Giveaway on this blog if you would like the chance to win this software.  The giveaway ends on September 30th, so be sure to enter ASAP! Free 12"x12" Scrapbook Page - Thankful

Good Morning Everyone.  I hope all of you are enjoying your Sunday and are able to spend some time crafting or doing what you love.  I am definitely dedicating the whole day to art.  I am in the process finishing two more oracle cards as well as updating my blog, website, facebook page, and Etsy store.  I have decided to slightly change the name of Copper Blossom Paper Gallery to Copper Blossom Paperie.  I am not very business oriented, but I am trying to market my pages and use software to get more traffic to the website and blog.  I am also in the process of switching over my website shopping cart to a new company that can better handle digital material.  This seems to be more time consuming than actually creating the art I want to sell!  Due to the name change, I will also be designing a permanent logo and redesign all of the online pages to coordinate with that logo.  These changes will take a while, so I apologize if you come across a wonky webpage or a link that does not work.

Todays freebie is a 12"x12" .png scrapbook page that simply needs a photo to complete.
